Community Guidelines
Effective Date: May 7, 2026
To ensure a fair, safe, and enjoyable competitive environment in DuckOrDie and Ruckus, all players are required to adhere to this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in loss of access to multiplayer services.
1. Respect & Safety
- Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Any form of bullying, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability is strictly prohibited.
- Appropriate Communication: Do not use offensive language, aggressive shouting, or inappropriate sexual content in voice chat or via player gestures.
- Personal Boundaries: Respect the personal space of others in VR. Hateful or suggestive gestures are not permitted.
2. Fair Play & Integrity
- No Cheating: The use of hacks, automated bots, or third-party software to gain an advantage is strictly prohibited.
- No Exploitation: Intentionally using "glitches" or game bugs to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt the game for others is not allowed.
- No Griefing: Do not intentionally ruin the experience for other players or disrupt the natural flow of a match.
3. Account & Identity
- Naming Policy: Usernames must not contain profanity, slurs, or be designed to impersonate developers or other players.
- Reporting: Use the in-game reporting tools to flag genuine violations. Abuse of the reporting system (false reporting) is itself a violation of this code.
4. Consequences
Violations are taken seriously and may lead to the following actions at our discretion:
- Temporary suspension from multiplayer features.
- Permanent ban from both DuckOrDie and Ruckus.
- Escalation to Meta for further platform-level disciplinary action.
Note: By playing our games, you also agree to abide by the Meta Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences.
